CV/Resume Writing

A CV written from scratch around the role you are going for, not a reshuffle of the one you already have. We start with a conversation, find the work worth talking about, and put it on the page in a way a recruiter can scan in seconds.

Who it's for

• Professionals whose CV has not kept pace with their experience
• Career changers who need their background framed for a new field
• Graduates and early-career applicants with more to say than one page of coursework
• Anyone applying abroad who needs a CV that reads well to international recruiters

What you get

• A discovery call to understand your history, strengths and target roles
• A new CV written from scratch, with achievement-led bullet points
• Two rounds of revisions on the full document
• Final files as a print-ready PDF and an editable DOCX you can keep updating

What we need from you

• Your current CV, or a completed brief if you are starting fresh
• The role you are targeting, ideally with one or two real job postings

How it works

1. Request a quote or get in touch, and we confirm the details within a working day.
2. You pay up front and share your current CV or brief.
3. We hold the discovery call and draft your CV.
4. You review the draft and send feedback across two revision rounds.
5. We deliver the final PDF and DOCX.

Why LaunchPad

• Every CV is written by a person who has spoken to you, not generated from a template.
• You get an editable DOCX, so you are not dependent on us for small updates later.
• We serve clients anywhere, and write for the market you are applying into.

Frequently asked questions

How is this different from a CV redesign?

A redesign keeps your existing content and improves structure and layout. Writing starts from your experience and produces new content, which suits anyone whose current CV undersells them.

Will my CV work with applicant tracking systems?

We use clean, readable structure throughout. If you are applying mainly through online portals, our ATS Optimization service adds keyword mapping against your target roles.

How long does it take?

It depends on how quickly the discovery call happens and how fast you return feedback. We confirm a timeline once we have your documents.
