A personal statement has to answer the programme's questions while sounding like you. We work from the admissions brief, help you find the story in your experience, and shape it into a structured, well-argued draft.

Who it's for

  • Applicants to undergraduate, master's and doctoral programmes, in Nigeria or abroad
  • Scholarship and fellowship applicants asked for a statement of purpose or motivation essay
  • Anyone who has the experience but struggles to organise it into a convincing narrative

What you get

  • A review of the programme brief, prompts and word or character limits
  • A structured draft built around your motivation, relevant experience and future plans
  • Two rounds of revisions on the full statement
  • A final version within the required length, delivered in DOCX and PDF

What we need from you

  • Your current CV, or a completed brief
  • The programme or scholarship you are applying to, with its statement prompt
  • Notes on why you are applying, and any experiences you want included

How it works

  1. Share your CV, the programme brief and your deadline.
  2. You pay up front and we confirm the details within a working day.
  3. We review the prompts, ask follow-up questions and write the first draft.
  4. You give feedback across two revision rounds.
  5. We deliver the final statement.

Why LaunchPad

  • The draft is built against the actual prompt, so it answers what the committee asked.
  • Your voice and experiences stay at the centre; we structure and sharpen them.
  • Can be combined with our scholarship and graduate school application services for fuller support.

Frequently asked questions

Will the statement be original?

Yes. It is written from your own experiences and notes, for your specific application. We do not reuse statements between clients.

Can one statement be used for several programmes?

A strong core statement can often be adapted. Prompts and word limits differ, though, so we recommend tailoring for each programme.

How long does it take?

It depends on your availability for questions and feedback. Tell us your deadline and we confirm a timeline once we have your documents.
